 WESTERN CANADA ROADBUILDERS ASSOCIATION

Her Majesty shared her experiences in having some members of this association visit with her at the palace.

 CANADIAN RED CROSS

During volunteer appreciation week, Her Majesty visited with almost 1000 volunteers in three cities and cleverly demonstrated ...by magically piecing a balloon with a foot long needle...the skill Red Cross nurses have in drawing blood without doing injury.

 GRAND OPENING A-WEAR STORE

Her Majesty and fashion are synonymous so it was no surprise to see her up on the runway with the other models showing off the latest styles available at this fine shop.

 THE ASSOCIATION OF CORROSION ENGINEERS

Her Majesty shared her deep interest in the subject of "Stress Corrosion Cracking" as she has been suffering from this for years.

 THE HARBOUR TOWERS HOTEL

Her Majesty spent some quality time with hotel guests visiting on tour.

THE ALBERTA SHOWCASE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

There is SOME work only Her Majesty can do . . . such as introduce V.I.P.'s to a banquet audience and go on later to perform at the late-night cabaret.

 CANADIAN PROPERTY TAX ASSOCIATION

A visit with the Property Tax Association is always lots of fun for Her Majesty.

 INDEPENDENT ARMOURED CAR ASSOCIATION

Her Majesty fondly recalled a visit made to the palace by members of this association.

 INTERNATIONAL DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

Her Majesty enjoys any discussions concerning infrastructure so it was a pleasure being in "the Big Apple" for this international conference.
